Rain Forest – mixed media on 300 gsm watercolour paper, original artwork.

This work was created in Australia in August 2022. This is a mixed-media work using Derwent Inktense pencils.  watercolour and fine-liner pens.

The work started as a semi-random A4 watercolour monotype print, created on a gel block. The resulting image opened possibilities to the imagination and I visualised a rain forest of alien vegetation, which I created with overpainting using Derwent Inktense, and fine liner pens.
